Great excitement in 4th and 5th classes today as our local historians Sile Murphy and Katie Dee came to the school to have a look at our local history projects and present certificates to all pupils! Children from the rest of the classes got a chance to engage with and discuss the projects too, resulting in a lot of new knowledge being exchanged. Well done to everyone involved including parents, teachers and people from our area who helped the children produce such a high standard of work. A special word of thanks to Sile and Katie for their time and effort and for making today so special for everyone.
