October/November 2025:

Our school took part in Walk on Wednesdays and Active travel week, encouraging parents and children to park and stride from locations near our school. The entire school community got involved and it was great to see so many happy faces arriving to school after a lovely walk with their families and friends.

We are still fundraising for the school using the ReTurn scheme and doing our bit for the environment too. Anyone from the school community or locality can donate their bottles and cans into our deposit bins.

Wednesday 18th February: We had our Green Schools Travel Action Day. It was a WOW day, we all wore green, the Gardaí came to talk to us about Road Safety, we did some litter picking and the Green Schools committee led dancing at breaktime to a walking playlist theme.
